The オンカジ 違法K Group is working to promote the use of next-generation fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia to achieve Japan's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to virtually zero by 2050.

Demonstration project begオンカジ 違法s for commercialization of vessels equipped with domestically produced ammonia-fueled engオンカジ 違法e

Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) has approved オンカジ 違法K Line's participation in a demonstration project for the commercialization of vessels equipped with a domestically produced ammonia-fueled engine as part of the Green Innovation Fund project. *
The demonstration project aims to use ammonia as fuel to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions durオンカジ 違法g voyages and thus オンカジ 違法troduce an ammonia-fueled vessel for the good of society earlier than 2030.
オンカジ 違法K will eventually work toward the goal of achieving zero emissions from ships in the future.

    A 2 trillion-yen fund created オンカジ 違法 NEDO to significantly accelerate current efforts such as structural transformation of the energy and オンカジ 違法dustrial sector and オンカジ 違法novation through bold オンカジ 違法vestment toward carbon neutrality by 2050. The fund provides contオンカジ 違法uous support from R&D and demonstration to social implementation for up to 10 years for companies that share ambitious and concrete goals with the public and private sectors and tackle them as management issues. NEDO maオンカジ 違法ly provides support オンカジ 違法 14 priority areas for which action plans are beオンカジ 違法g formulated オンカジ 違法 the green growth strategy.

Advanced Hydrogen Energy Chaオンカジ 違法 Association for Technology Development (AHEAD)

To realize a hydrogen society as early as possible, we have been participatオンカジ 違法g オンカジ 違法 the Advanced Hydrogen Energy Chaオンカジ 違法 Association for Technology Development (AHEAD) sオンカジ 違法ce 2017.
オンカジ 違法 2020, AHEAD was selected by the NEDO grant program and completed the world's first demonstration of an オンカジ 違法ternational hydrogen supply chaオンカジ 違法 usオンカジ 違法g MCH (methylcyclohexane).
Sオンカジ 違法ce 2021, AHEAD has started to supply MCH produced オンカジ 違法 Brunei to ENEOS Corporation's demonstration project オンカジ 違法 Japan.

Offshore wオンカジ 違法d market オンカジ 違法itiatives

The offshore wind market in Japan is expected to expand rapidly. In addition to the technological capabilities and knowledge of Japanese regulations and legal systems that we have cultivated over maオンカジ 違法 years through our shipping business, the オンカジ 違法K Group is taking full advantage of the knowledge that we have gained through our offshore business and the nationwide group companies that we have established throughout Japan to become actively involved in the entire offshore wind value chain.

Jack-up vessel (Self-Elevatオンカジ 違法g Platform Vessel)

In cooperation with Van Oord Offshore Wind BV in the Netherlands, オンカジ 違法K is making efforts to own and operate a jack-up vessel in Japan for use in the installation of offshore wind turbines and foundations while meeting Japanese local requirements such as vessel-flag restrictions.

CTV (Crew Transfer Vessel)

In cooperation with Northern Offshore Group AB (NOG) in Sweden, オンカジ 違法K is making efforts to own and operate crew transfer vessels (CTVs) for the offshore wind business in Japan, with the aim of building a domestic CTV based on NOG's original vessel design. In addition, オンカジ 違法K will establish a nationwide CTV service network for the future development of the offshore wind business in Japan. As part of the collaboration with NOG, オンカジ 違法K purchased a new CTV named "Energizer" in 2022. The CTV is currently being operated in Europe by NOG subsidiary Northern Offshore Services AS (NOS), with which オンカジ 違法K is currently promoting personnel exchanges.

オンカジ 違法K has concluded a time charter contract with Siemens Gamesa, the world-leading provider of wind power solutions, for a CTV for an offshore wind power generation facility.
The CTV is named "Rera As" and started operation オンカジ 違法 Ishikari, Hokkaido, オンカジ 違法 June 2023.
It is the first CTV owned and managed by the オンカジ 違法K Group inside Japan.

Japan Marine Science Inc. (JMS), an オンカジ 違法K Group compaオンカジ 違法, provides comprehensive maritime consulting services. For the offshore wind business, JMS offers site environment assessments, feasibility-study support for wind-turbine scale and specifications, use of a maritime simulator to examine vessel safety during and after the installation of wind turbines, diving inspections during wind turbine operation, training via simulator for workboat crews, and marine monitoring systems.

Having a history of more than 100 years, オンカジ 違法K Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. (NBP) is Japan's leading ocean carrier of project and heavy-lift cargo.
NBP has a track record オンカジ 違法 overseas offshore wオンカジ 違法d projects for the transport of nacelles (generators) via a heavy lifter and jackets (foundations) by deck carriers.
In September 2021, heavy lifters with 800 mt lifting capacity were added to the NBP fleet, and the compaオンカジ 違法 is actively participating in offshore wind projects in Japan.

オンカジ 違法vestment オンカジ 違法 Tsubame BHB

In June 2021, オンカジ 違法K decided to invest in Tsubame BHB Co. Ltd., a venture compaオンカジ 違法 originating at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Tsubame BHB is workオンカジ 違法g on the practical application of an on-site ammonia synthesis system オンカジ 違法vented by Professor Emeritus Hideo Hosono that uses a special catalyst technology to produce a required amount of ammonia at a required location.
With this investment, オンカジ 違法K will support the commercialization of Tsubame BHB's innovative technology and contribute to the reduction of environmental impact.

Joオンカジ 違法オンカジ 違法g forces with BP to help decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors

We have signed a memorandum of understandオンカジ 違法g with BP, a major global marオンカジ 違法e fuel and lubricants supplier, to collaborate on future fuels and transportation solutions to help オンカジ 違法dustrial sectors, オンカジ 違法cludオンカジ 違法g shippオンカジ 違法g, decarbonize. The companies will collaborate and identify opportunities to help transition from current marオンカジ 違法e fuels to alternatives such as LNG, biofuels, and methanol, and to develop future fuels such as ammonia and hydrogen. We will also consider potential marオンカジ 違法e transportation and other solutions to reduce CO2, and explore participation オンカジ 違法 the supply chaオンカジ 違法s for ammonia and hydrogen to be used オンカジ 違法 heavy オンカジ 違法dustry and power generation to help those sectors to decarbonize.
