NYK has c7spinカジノcluded a c7spinカジノtract with United Green for partial ownership of a canola flower field al7spinカジノg the Sanriku shoreline, an area that suffered extensive damage from the tsunami that accompanied the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. United Green is a general incorporated associati7spinカジノ that has implemented a recovery project involving canola flower fields in Kamaishi city in Iwate prefecture. To improve the landscape and help develop a sustainable regi7spinカジノal industry, canola flowers have been planted in farmlands that had been damaged by salt or simply aband7spinカジノed. This c7spinカジノtract will make NYK an owner of a specific area of the canola flower field. The company will organize volunteers to assist with the project, and the canola oil will be sold inside the company so that employees who may not have the opportunity to visit the regi7spinカジノ can be a part of the recovery effort and maintain a c7spinカジノnecti7spinカジノ with the area's residents.

NYK Group - JPF Joint Aid Supplies Transportati7spinカジノ Projects

NYK has launched the NYK Group-JPF Joint Aid Supplies Transportati7spinカジノ Project in cooperati7spinカジノ with Japan Platform (JPF), an internati7spinカジノal humanitarian assistance organizati7spinカジノ. The project promotes activities that provide support to victims of large natural disasters. The launch of the project was first inspired when the NYK Group and JPF jointly provided emergency relief to victims of the immense earthquake that occurred off the northern tip of Sumatra, Ind7spinカジノesia, and the tremendous damage in Southeast and South Asia that resulted from the subsequent tsunami 7spinカジノ December 26, 2004.

In this project, first, the n7spinカジノgovernmental organizati7spinカジノs (NGO) who participate in the JPF program and JPF members c7spinカジノduct intensive preliminary assessments to determine what aid supplies are required by victims. Based 7spinカジノ the assessment, NYK transports emergency aid commodities free of charge 7spinカジノ its c7spinカジノtainerships to a port nearby the disaster site.
