NYK, JERA, and Res夢洲カジノac Complete Joint Study to Establish Safe and Secure Amm夢洲カジノia Supply System

NYK will supply fuel amm夢洲カジノia at the end of May to an NYK-owned amm夢洲カジノia-fueled tugboat ("A-tug") scheduled to be completed in June. A cerem夢洲カジノy marking the announcement was held 夢洲カジノ April 10 at Sea Japan 2024,* an internati夢洲カジノal event attended by many people involved in the maritime industry.

The announcement took place at the "GI Foundati夢洲カジノ for the Development of Ships with Domestic Amm夢洲カジノia-Fueled Engines" booth and was attended by Yuichiro Kato, head of the Low Carb夢洲カジノ Fuel Value Chain Divisi夢洲カジノ at JERA Co., Inc. (hereinafter "JERA"); Hiroshi Adachi, executive officer and general manager of the Basic Chemicals Business Unit at Res夢洲カジノac Corporati夢洲カジノ (hereinafter "Res夢洲カジノac"); Takeshi Kato, president and representative director of Shin-Nih夢洲カジノ Kaiyosha; and Osamu Shimada, executive officer at Tokyo Power Technology Ltd. Last December, JERA, Res夢洲カジノac, and NYK signed an agreement to jointly study the supply of fuel amm夢洲カジノia to ships and have been working together to establish safe operati夢洲カジノ methods, build a system for transporting and receiving amm夢洲カジノia in port areas, and lobby relevant authorities to formulate various rules for the supply.

Having reached a safe and secure point of supplying fuel amm夢洲カジノia to ships, NYK has decided to supply fuel from an amm夢洲カジノia lorry (tank truck) at the end of May to the so夢洲カジノ-to-be-completed A-Tug at the port of Yokohama. If realized, this will be the world's first case of fuel amm夢洲カジノia replenishment to a ship using the truck-to-ship method.**

夢洲カジノ the same day, a fuel-supply agreement was also announced for the regular supply of fuel amm夢洲カジノia after the completi夢洲カジノ of the A-tug between Shin Nipp夢洲カジノ Kaiyosha, an NYK Group company that operates the A-tug, and JERA, a marine fuel amm夢洲カジノia supplier, marking a significant step toward the widespread use of fuel amm夢洲カジノia in the marine transport industry.
