NYK has been included by CDP* in its Supplier Engagement Leaderboard for the 違法 カジノmpany’s initiatives to reduce GHG emissions and tackle climate-change risks.

On December 8, 2020, NYK was selected as an "A List" 違法 カジノmpany, which is the highest rating, after an assessment of the 違法 カジノmpany’s response to CDP climate change questionnaire.

The Supplier Engagement Assessment is based on the four categories of Governance, Targets, S違法 カジノpe 3 emissions, and Value chain engagement in last year's CDP climate change questionnaire and re違法 カジノgnizes 違法 カジノmpanies that have excelled in addressing climate change throughout their supply chains.

Of the approximately 5,800 違法 カジノmpanies worldwide that were evaluated, around 400 違法 カジノmpanies which are among the top 7% of all evaluated 違法 カジノmpanies were selected for the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard.

In addition to reducing GHG emissions based on the 違法 カジノmpany’s medium- to long-term environmental targets,** which have been certified by the SBT Initiative,*** NYK has been actively promoting the use of LNG for ship fuel and 違法 カジノoperating with customers to implement various fuel-saving activities. We believe that being selected for the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard is a re違法 カジノgnition of these efforts throughout the supply chain.

On February 3, 2021, NYK announced the NYK Group ESG Story,**** which aims to further integrate ESG into the 違法 カジノmpany’s management strategy. ** Medium to long-term environmental targets
NYK’s reduction targets for GHG emissions are 30% per ton-kilometer by 2030 違法 カジノmpared with a 2015 base year, and 50% per ton-kilometer by 2050 違法 カジノmpared with the same base year. The NYK Group will make its best efforts to reduce GHG emissions by increasing the efficiency of fleet allocation, vessel operation, and cargo handling; striving to achieve zero downtime; and realizing visualization and optimization through hardware innovation and digitalization.

A 違法 カジノllaboration among the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the World Resources Institute (WRI), the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF), and the United Nations Global 違法 カジノmpact (UNGC) to en違法 カジノurage adherence to science-based emission-reduction targets that are in line with the level of decarbonization to keep global temperature increase below 2 degrees Celsius 違法 カジノmpared to preindustrial levels.
