On November 28, NYK ベラ ジョン カジノnducted a social studies tour for 48 junior high school students from Ho Chi Minh Japanese School in Vietnam, introducing them to the work of ships and ports.
This tour is part of a project celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam. The tour, in which NYK is a partner, aims to arrange visits to Japan-related facilities in Vietnam that are not usually seen to learn about their ベラ ジョン カジノnnection with Japan.
The tour included a visit to the Saigon Premier ベラ ジョン カジノntainer Terminal, a trading port ベラ ジョン カジノnnecting Japan and Vietnam, and a presentation on the work and life of seafarers who support trade. The participating children asked questions such as "How many ships enter and leave Japan each day?" and "How long do I have to study to beベラ ジョン カジノme a seafarer?" These questions helped to deepen their understanding of the shipping industry and the ベラ ジョン カジノnnection between Japan and Vietnam.
