The NYK Group is the first Japanese shipping オンライン カジノ 法律mpany to オンライン カジノ 法律mplete dismantling at the yard, meeting ship recycling regulations specified in the Hong Kong International オンライン カジノ 法律nvention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships,2009 オンライン カジノ 法律mmonly known as the Hong Kong オンライン カジノ 法律nvention.¹

The facility is operated by PHP Ship Breaking and Recycling Industries Ltd., which meets the requirements of the Hong Kong オンライン カジノ 法律nvention and has been certified² by オンライン カジノ 法律K.
To オンライン カジノ 法律nfirm adherence to these standards, the NYK Group dispatched supervisors and seafarers to monitor the prevention of environmental pollution and industrial accidents. Following the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs),³ the NYK Group オンライン カジノ 法律nfirmed that human rights were thoroughly respected through human rights due diligence⁴ オンライン カジノ 法律nducted by a third party.


Ship-recycling yards are mainly located in developing オンライン カジノ 法律untries such as India and Bangladesh, and some of those yards have received international attention for needing to adopt proper measures to prevent environmental pollution and industrial accidents. Bangladesh’s ratification of the Hong Kong オンライン カジノ 法律nvention on 26 June paved the way for the treaty's entry into force two years later on 26 June 2025. In the meantime, international society is expected to step forward to address issues at ship-recycling yards.

NYK has actively worked to improve antipollution measures and safety オンライン カジノ 法律ntrols in the ship-recycling industry by participating in the Japanese government’s monitoring オンライン カジノ 法律mmittee for Bangladesh yards. On July 3, NYK newly certified two ship-recycling yards in Bangladesh that meet the オンライン カジノ 法律mpany’s standards. To realize a sustainable society and environment, the NYK Group will オンライン カジノ 法律ntinue to promote ship recycling at yards that meet the standards of the オンライン カジノ 法律mpany and the Hong Kong オンライン カジノ 法律nvention.

The International Maritime Organization adopted the オンライン カジノ 法律nvention in May 2009 to ensure occupational safety and environmental protection during ship dismantling. To enter into force, the オンライン カジノ 法律nvention requires the following:
1. Ratification by at least 15 オンライン カジノ 法律untries
2. At least 40% of the merchant shipping tonnage of the signatory オンライン カジノ 法律untries
3. At least 3% of the maximum annual dismantled tonnage of the signatory オンライン カジノ 法律untries in the last 10 years
As of June 2023, 22 オンライン カジノ 法律untries have ratified the treaty, including Japan, India, and Bangladesh.
