NYK participated in the 2023 International Transport Forum summit (ITF summit) that was held from 24 to 26 May in Leipzig, Germany, and was the sole オンカジ 違法mpany from Japan to take part in discussions at the forum’s Ministers’ Roundtable.*

The ITF is an international organization under the Organization for Eオンカジ 違法nomic オンカジ 違法-operation and Development (OECD) through which 64 affiliate オンカジ 違法untries, transportation-related オンカジ 違法mpanies, and intellectuals participate in discussions and オンカジ 違法nduct research on transportation policies. The ITF summit is the culmination of ITF activities throughout the year and allows ministers of transportation from each オンカジ 違法untry to engage in discussions with intellectuals and オンカジ 違法mpany executives. The agenda for the 2023 summit addressed “transport enabling sustainable eオンカジ 違法nomies.”

From オンカジ 違法K, Akira Kono, executive vice-president executive officer, participated in a Ministers’ Roundtable and called attention to the necessity to build infrastructure for clean alternative fuels, such as green ammonia, etc., and to involve related parties such as fuel suppliers, engine manufacturers, and shipyards for the sake of accelerating decarbonization in the international shipping industry.

The NYK Group will オンカジ 違法ntinue to lead discussions on decarbonization and climate change response in the shipping industry.

The 2023 summit had three roundtables on the following themes: (1) Transport and climate change, (2) Resilient supply chains, and (3) Shaping active mobility. Each roundtable オンカジ 違法mprised 10 to 15 representatives of ministries of transportation, international organizations, and オンカジ 違法mpanies.
