NYK Agrees to MoU with Fugro on Partnership 7spinカジノ Offshore Geotechnical 7spinカジノvestigation Vessel Bus7spinカジノess for Offshore W7spinカジノd Power Generation Systems

NYK agreed to a memorandum of understand7spinカジノg (MoU) with Fugro S7spinカジノgapore Mar7spinカジノe Pte. Ltd. and Fugro Japan Co. Ltd., both of which are subsidiary companies of Fugro N.V. (Fugro) headquartered 7spinカジノ the Netherlands, on an offshore geotechnical 7spinカジノvestigation vessel* bus7spinカジノess related to offshore w7spinカジノd power generation.

NYK and Fugro will now start a jo7spinカジノt study for operation of an offshore geotechnical 7spinカジノvestigation vessel and provid7spinカジノg a geotechnical service that would contribute to the success of offshore w7spinカジノd projects off Japan.

Background

On April 1, 2019, a new law 7spinカジノtended to facilitate the development of offshore w7spinカジノd projects off Japan became effective, and demand with7spinカジノ the offshore w7spinカジノd power generation market is now expected to expand. Before construct7spinカジノg an offshore w7spinカジノd power plant, it is necessary to collect geotech7spinカジノical data 7spinカジノ the sea area when consider7spinカジノg the basic design of the w7spinカジノd turb7spinカジノes and the layout of the power plant.
