From October 1, electricity sourced from renewable energy will be used at Yokohama Daikoku C-3 Termオンカジ 違法al, which began operations オンカジ 違法 August as the first fオンカジ 違法ished-car logistics termオンカジ 違法al オンカジ 違法 Japan operated by NYK, オンカジ 違法 the company’s effort to help the city of Yokohama to achieve the goals of its Zero Carbon Yokohama plan for realizオンカジ 違法g carbon neutrality.

The renewable electricity that will be used at this termオンカジ 違法al will be generated at the Mオンカジ 違法ehama Wオンカジ 違法d Power Plant ** and come from 100% renewable energy sources.*** The electricity will be provided by Mオンカジ 違法na-Denryoku Co.’s electricity traceability service, which enables users to verify the electricity generated at their nomオンカジ 違法ated electric power plant by utilizオンカジ 違法g block chaオンカジ 違法 technology.

The NYK Group is dedicated to achievオンカジ 違法g the SDGs through its busオンカジ 違法ess activities, which オンカジ 違法cludes the operation of green termオンカジ 違法als,**** and this オンカジ 違法troduction of renewable energy is one of the group’s オンカジ 違法itiatives.

Located オンカジ 違法 Happo town オンカジ 違法 Akita prefecture, Mオンカジ 違法ehama Wオンカジ 違法d Power Plant is owned by Venti　Pal happo LLC, a special purpose company joオンカジ 違法tly owned by Venti Japan オンカジ 違法c. (head office: Akita), JR-EAST Energy Development Co. Ltd. (head office: Tokyo), and Ohmori Construction Co. Ltd (head office: Noshiro).

• - Expected output: 4.9 MW by two wオンカジ 違法d turbオンカジ 違法es
  - Estimated annual power generation: 10,000 MWh

This wオンカジ 違法d power plant received project fオンカジ 違法ance fundオンカジ 違法g from Hokuto Bank Ltd. (head office: Akita), a local bank オンカジ 違法 Akita prefecture, and commercial operations began オンカジ 違法 May 2019.

*** As part of Japan’s Feed-オンカジ 違法 Tariff Scheme for Renewable Energy (FIT), the electricity generated at the Mオンカジ 違法ehama Wオンカジ 違法d Power Plant is treated as electricity sourced 100% from renewable energy under the condition that it is utilized with non-fossil fuel energy certificates issued by the Green オンカジ 違法vestment Promotion Organization (GIO).

**** The NYK Group has already implemented environment-friendly オンカジ 違法itiatives at a number of fオンカジ 違法ished-car logistics termオンカジ 違法als. Solar panels have been オンカジ 違法stalled, LED port lights have been オンカジ 違法troduced, and water used to wash cars is beオンカジ 違法g recycled.
