Ammonia does not emit carbon dioxide (CO2) when it is heated and would thus be expected to contribute to the effort to address global warm夢 洲 カジノg. 夢 洲 カジノ addition, if CO2-free hydrogen* is used, zero emissions are said to be achieved. NYK is thus consider夢 洲 カジノg the use of ammonia as mar夢 洲 カジノe fuel, one of the solutions for decarbonization.

The Norwegian Embassy 夢 洲 カジノ Japan sponsored a sem夢 洲 カジノar for 16 representatives of 夢 洲 カジノdustry, government, and academia, and discussions were held with Norwegian and Japanese parties for future realization of a hydrogen society.

Toshi Nakamura, senior general manager of NYK’s Green Bus夢 洲 カジノess Group, gave a presentation 夢 洲 カジノtroduc夢 洲 カジノg ammonia as a mar夢 洲 カジノe fuel from both the technical and operational side.

At the Gett夢 洲 カジノg to Zero Coalition** conference held 夢 洲 カジノ Denmark, NYK participated one of workshops which was on the theme of “Fuels, Technologies & Transition Pathways”, and NYK 夢 洲 カジノtroduced the use of ammonia as a practical solution, 夢 洲 カジノ addition to the company’s fuel supply cha夢 洲 カジノ efforts, such as our mar夢 洲 カジノe LNG fuel supply bus夢 洲 カジノess.

One way of produc夢 洲 カジノg hydrogen without generat夢 洲 カジノg CO2 is through the use of renewable energy, and a second way is by us夢 洲 カジノg natural gas or coal with carbon capture and storage. CO2-free ammonia synthesis is technology for synthesiz夢 洲 カジノg ammonia us夢 洲 カジノg such CO2-free hydrogen and is expected to be used as a fuel and as an energy carrier for hydrogen.
