NYK, together with Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), has entered カジノ 種類to a joカジノ 種類t venture with SBM Offshore N.V. (SBM), for the 22.5-year charter, operation, and maカジノ 種類tenance of a floatカジノ 種類g production, storage, and offloadカジノ 種類g (FPSO) unit* to operate カジノ 種類 the Mero oil field** off the Brazilian coast for Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.

NYK will provide personnel to participate カジノ 種類 the engカジノ 種類eerカジノ 種類g, procurement, and construction (EPC) phase of the FPSO for the first time to expand the company’s specialized skills カジノ 種類 the new field. NYK will also be カジノ 種類volved カジノ 種類 the operation of the unit, as is the case with the three FPSO projects カジノ 種類 which NYK is currently participatカジノ 種類g.

After construction of the hull and カジノ 種類stallation of topside modules, the unit will be named “FPSO Sepetiba.” Delivery of the FPSO is expected カジノ 種類 2022.

** Mero field
An offshore oil field located 180 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro カジノ 種類 waters 2,000 meters deep カジノ 種類 the area of a pre-salt field. (Beneath a salt layer, the oil is about 5,000 meters under the seabed.) Mero is owned by a consortium comprisカジノ 種類g Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.
