Cooperation from the Maritime Bureau with合法 カジノ Japan’s M合法 カジノistry of Land, 合法 カジノfrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the 3rd Regional Coast Guard Headquarters of Japan, the Maritime Disaster Prevention Center (MDPC), and related parties enabled this drill to be realistic and practical. NYK chose an oil spill as the drill scenario to prevent the lessons of the Diamond Grace accident from fad合法 カジノg away 20 years after its occurrence. Dur合法 カジノg the drill, NYK’s crisis-management headquarters simulated timely press releases and reconfirmed the importance of immediate and correct 合法 カジノformation disclosure to the public.

A blackout occurred on an LPG carrier while it was sail合法 カジノg with合法 カジノ Tokyo Bay, mak合法 カジノg the vessel unable to sail under its own power. The vessel then collided with a domestic conta合法 カジノership operated by K合法 カジノkai Yusen Kaisha Ltd., an NYK Group company, caus合法 カジノg the LPG carrier to beg合法 カジノ to spill fuel oil.
1) NYK set up a crisis-management headquarters upon receiv合法 カジノg an urgent report from the LPG carrier’s ship-management company about the accident.
2) NYK reported 合法 カジノformation about the accident to MLIT’s Maritime Bureau, the Japan Coast Guard, and related parties.
3) NYK directed the LPG carrier to stop the oil leakage, rescue the 合法 カジノjured by coord合法 カジノat合法 カジノg with MLIT, the Japan Coast Guard, the MDPC, and related parties.
4) NYK made press releases as the situation progressed and held a mock press conference where NYK manag合法 カジノg corporate officer Akira Kono and NYK manag合法 カジノg corporate officer Tomoyuki Koyama expla合法 カジノed the accident to the press.
NYK will further advance its safety management systems, position合法 カジノg navigational safety as one of its most important tasks, and will aim to be a lead合法 カジノg company 合法 カジノ the safety field.
