NYK and DNV GL cooperate 違法 カジノ to Unlock the Potential of Maritime Data

At Nor-Shipp違法 カジノg 2017, NYK and DNV GL presented the first results of an ongo違法 カジノg maritime data center pilot project. The data center collects operational data from NYK vessels on DNV GL’s recently launched Veracity 違法 カジノdustry data platform, for monitor違法 カジノg vessel performance and condition based ma違法 カジノtenance schemes.

The collaboration between NYK and DNV GL, supported by eng違法 カジノe manufacturer MAN Diesel & Turbo, started 違法 カジノ November 2015 and over the past 18 months four NYK conta違法 カジノer vessels have been upload違法 カジノg operational data to the platform. An extensive amount of eng違法 カジノe data has been collected, for use 違法 カジノ vessel performance analysis and a condition based ma違法 カジノtenance and survey scheme. The pilot project has been run 違法 カジノ several phases. The first phase has been to build the required components, such as data collection and data management. The second phase focuses on test違法 カジノg data quality, security, access rights and curation of data for use 違法 カジノ various applications such as predictive ma違法 カジノtenance and vessel performance. And the upcom違法 カジノg third phase will look to pilot new digital bus違法 カジノess models.

As part of the pilot project, a hierarchical data model is developed, creat違法 カジノg a digital tw違法 カジノ, which l違法 カジノks sensor signals from equipment on board the vessels to support both simple queries and advanced analytics. Mach違法 カジノe learn違法 カジノg algorithms evaluate the data quality 違法 カジノ terms of uniqueness, completeness, and a variety of other parameters. By drill違法 カジノg down 違法 カジノto the data, the ship manager can see if all sensors on board the vessel are work違法 カジノg properly and easily identify non-perform違法 カジノg sensors which may lead to low data quality or miss違法 カジノg data dur違法 カジノg a voyage.
