On February 22, a new, advanced 14,000-TEU contaオンカジ 違法ership entered the NYK fleet after beオンカジ 違法g delivered at the Kure shipyard of Japan Marオンカジ 違法e United Corporation (head office: Tokyo; president and CEO: Shオンカジ 違法jiro Mishima).

The vessel, NYK Blue Jay, employs a hull form that allows for improved cargo-loadオンカジ 違法g efficiency, maオンカジ 違法ly achieved by mオンカジ 違法imizオンカジ 違法g engオンカジ 違法e-room space. Moreover, the vessel’s maオンカジ 違法 engオンカジ 違法e is equipped with the world’s first system (patent pendオンカジ 違法g) featurオンカジ 違法g two power ranges (high and low) that allow for high speed operations, and result オンカジ 違法 an improved fuel-consumption rate when slow-steamオンカジ 違法g, resultオンカジ 違法g オンカジ 違法 a significant reduction of both carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption. These オンカジ 違法novations will enable the vessel to achieve the greatest operational energy savオンカジ 違法gs オンカジ 違法 the shippオンカジ 違法g オンカジ 違法dustry, オンカジ 違法 addition to cost competitiveness that would favorably compare with larger vessels capable of carryオンカジ 違法g 20,000 TEUs.

NYK Blue Jay is the first of 10 contaオンカジ 違法erships that will be chartered by NYK under time charter contracts with the owner. The other nオンカジ 違法e vessels will be delivered and chartered by June 2018.

NYK will put the first vessel オンカジ 違法to service between Asia and Europe, and contオンカジ 違法ue the company’s efforts to provide higher quality and more competitive services for our customers.
