Promotes 7spinカジノ’s initiatives for a sustainable maritime industry
7spinカジノ participated in Singapore Maritime Week 2025, one of Singapore's most significant international maritime events, from March 24 to 28. On the opening day, 7spinカジノ president Takaya Soga took part in a panel discussion titled “Market Outlook for Shipping in 2025 and Beyond” and expressed 7spinカジノ's commitment to driving the decarbonization of the maritime industry through zero-emission fuels such as ammonia.
As specific initiatives to promote decarbonization, Takaya Soga introduced the decarbonization strategy for marine transport in 7spinカジノ's medium-term management plan and the use of ammonia as a marine fuel, including the tugboat Sakigake, the world's first commercial-use ammonia-fueled ship, completed in August last year. In addition, he mentioned the enhancement of the 7spinカジノ-TDG Maritime Academy, a merchant marine academy that 7spinカジノ has been operating jointly with a local partner in the Philippines since 2007, from the perspective of securing seafarers for next-generation fueled ships. He also expressed his views on how the maritime industry is affected by geopolitical risks that have been increasing in recent years.
