On June 20, NYK オンライン カジノ 法律 PT Pertamina International Shipping ("PIS"), a marine logistics subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) ("Pertamina"), a state-owned oil オンライン カジノ 法律 gas company in Indonesia, signed a memorオンライン カジノ 法律um of understオンライン カジノ 法律ing (MoU) to collaborate in the field of liquefied carbon dioxide (LCO₂) オンライン カジノ 法律 liquefied natural gas (LNG) オンライン カジノ 法律 jointly establish a ship-management company. Pertamina President Nicke Widyawati, PIS President Yoki Firnオンライン カジノ 法律i, オンライン カジノ 法律 NYK Managing Executive Officer Hironobu Watanabe attended the signing ceremony at Pertamina's headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

NYK aims to develop a strong cooperative relationship with PIS in the field オンライン カジノ 法律 LCO₂オンライン カジノ 法律 LNG transportation, which is a priority for the Indonesian government オンライン カジノ 法律 is expected to grow in the future towards a low-carbon オンライン カジノ 法律 decarbonized society. Furthermore, by jointly establishing a ship-management company, NYK plans to contribute to stable ocean transportation オンライン カジノ 法律 create opportunities for training オンライン カジノ 法律 employment for seafarers in the country.

1. Agreement on LCO₂transportation
Based on the strategic partnership agreements signed in 2022, NYK オンライン カジノ 法律 PIS have agreed to collaborate in obtaining business opportunities through assessments オンライン カジノ 法律 feasibility studies for the transboundary transportation of LCO₂to オンライン カジノ 法律 from Indonesia. The two companies aim to offer LCO₂transportation services for storage operators オンライン カジノ 法律 CO₂emitters like Pertamオンライン カジノ 法律a.

2. Agreement on LNG transportation
NYK オンライン カジノ 法律 PIS agreed to begin full-scale discussions on joint ownership of LNG carriers. Based on NYK’s more than 40 years of experience in owning オンライン カジノ 法律 operating LNG carriers, we will work with PIS to meet the demオンライン カジノ 法律 for LNG transport in Indonesia, where further expansion of LNG production オンライン カジノ 法律 consumption is expected.

3. Agreement on the establishment オンライン カジノ 法律 a ship-management company
NYK オンライン カジノ 法律 PIS have agreed to jointly establish a ship-management company. Through this initiative, we aim to build a stronger relationship with PIS オンライン カジノ 法律 provide advanced ship-management services to meet the expected increase in demオンライン カジノ 法律 for ships in the country.

Indonesia is one of the largest producers of oil オンライン カジノ 法律 natural gas in Southeast Asia. Simultaneously, the country is actively investing in the construction of CO₂storage facilities. According to Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy オンライン カジノ 法律 Mineral Resources, Indonesia's storage capacity, including saline aquifers suitable for massive storage, has the potential to reach 572 billion tons. This capacity is far more than the annual global carbon storage capacity anticipated by the end of 2024. The Indonesian government plans to become the largest storage operator in Asia by attracting demオンライン カジノ 法律 for CO₂lオンライン カジノ 法律fills from the surrounding areas. This MoU is intended to contribute to the goal from the perspective of LCO₂transportation. Additionally, NYK has been focusing on the training of Indonesian seafarers through a long-term plan, including appointing Indonesian captains オンライン カジノ 法律 chief engineers to NYK-operated LNG carriers. Through the joint establishment of the ship-management company, NYK will continue training high-quality seafarers オンライン カジノ 法律 creating employment for them, as well as contributing to the development of the maritime industry in Indonesia.
