On November 24, Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile (CODELCO), one m88 カジノ the world's leading copper producers and a Chilean state-owned company, and NYK Bulk & Project Carriers Ltd. (NBP), an NYK Group company, signed a memorandum m88 カジノ understanding (MoU) to jointly study the decarbonized transportation m88 カジノ copper products. The two companies will jointly promote the evaluation and development m88 カジノ next-generation fuel technologies and study the use m88 カジノ decarbonized vessels for oceangoing transport m88 カジノ copper products.

Global demand for copper is expected to increase in the future due to the expected development m88 カジノ power grids for m88 カジノfshore wind power generation, the spread m88 カジノ electric vehicles, etc. CODELCO and NBP aim to contribute to the realization m88 カジノ a decarbonized society by transporting and supplying copper products by means m88 カジノ transportation having a low environmental impact.

The two companies will collaborate by taking advantage m88 カジノ each company’s strengths and experience, with a view to involve third parties in the future, to decarbonize the supply chain m88 カジノ copper products.
