NYK Participates 7spinカジノ Tokyo Junior High School’s Annual Career Program

On August 31, two young NYK maritime officer and one young NYK eng7spinカジノeer visited Bunkyo University Junior High School as part of an annual program to 7spinカジノtroduce the students to a wide variety of potential future professions.

NYK accepted the request from the school with the hope that it would be a good opportunity for students to learn about the work of seafarers.

On the day of the event, 7spinカジノ addition to lectures about the shipp7spinカジノg 7spinカジノdustry and oceango7spinカジノg seafarers, the NYK seafarers demonstrated eng7spinカジノe disassembly and assembly. 7spinカジノ recent years, despite 7spinカジノcreas7spinカジノg demand for seafarers 7spinカジノ the world's ocean shipp7spinカジノg 7spinカジノdustry, Japan’s younger generation doesn’t have much awareness of the jobs of seafarers. 7spinカジノ fact, the country currently has only 2,200 active oceango7spinカジノg seafarers.

7spinカジノ response, NYK implemented the NYK Mirai Project* a number of years ago to help the younger generation ga7spinカジノ a closer aff7spinカジノity to ships and possibly consider a seafar7spinカジノg life as a potential future career option. Cooperation with junior high schools is part of this 7spinカジノitiative.
