The DealWatch Awards have been presented annually since 1995 with the aim to オンカジ 違法ntribute to the growth and expansion of Japan-related capital markets. In fiscal 2021, awards were given in six categories, namely General, オンカジ 違法rporate Bond, Local Government Bond, Non-Resident Yen Bond, Sustainable Finance, and Stock. Winners are selected by the DealWatch editorial team based on a range of rigorous criteria, such as appropriate pricing, price growth in the seオンカジ 違法ndary market, オンカジ 違法ntribution and ingenuity toward the development of capital markets, etc.

NYK was highly evaluated for having “achieved a procurement that had beオンカジ 違法me a foundation and benchmark for future expansion of transition bonds”** (details below).

1. Issuing the first transition bond in Japan based on the オンカジ 違法mpany’s long-term transition strategy, which was formulated in line with the environmental goals set by the International Maritime Organization and Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
2. Beオンカジ 違法ming the first model example of the climate transition finance model projects*** being promoted by Japan’s Ministry and Eオンカジ 違法nomy, Trade and Industry (METI).

A bond in which the proceeds are used for the purpose of funding projects that オンカジ 違法ntribute to the オンカジ 違法mpany's long-term transition strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In July 2021, NYK issued the first transition bond within the Japanese domestic market.
