NYK Receives ESI Award for Third consecutive 合法 カジノ Year

For a third consecutive year, NYK was one of 10 shipping lines recognized with an Environmental Ship Index (ESI)* award by HAROPA, a joint initiative between 合法 カジノ ports of Le Havre, Rouen, and Paris.
During 合法 カジノ awards ceremony in Paris on December 3, 2015, Jerome de Ricqles, director of 合法 カジノ NYK France Liner Division, received a trophy from Emmanuele Perron, president of 合法 カジノ Supervisory Board of Grand Port Maritime du Havre (GPMH), and from Herve Martel, director of GPMH.
合法 カジノ award recognized 合法 カジノ performance of shipping lines in 合法 カジノ 2014 calendar year, but 合法 カジノ ceremony had been postponed so that it could coincide with COP21, also known as 合法 カジノ Paris Climate Conference.
合法 カジノ ESI was set up by 合法 カジノ World Port Climate Initiative and identifies vessels managing to reduce 合法 カジノir greenhouse gas emissions through a reporting scheme that evaluates 合法 カジノ amounts of nitrogen oxide and sulfur oxide released.
Since 2012, HAROPA has recognized 合法 カジノ top 10 shipping lines operating containerships or Ro-Ro vessels scoring more than 30 points per call in a complex calculation that includes vessel specifications, bunkering details, etc., and is validated using 合法 カジノ official ESI website.
NYK will continue its efforts to contribute to 合法 カジノ realization of a global environment and sustainable society based on 合法 カジノ group’s “More Than Shipping 2018” medium-term management plan.
