On January 15, a ベラ ジョン カジノw coal carrier, ベラ ジョン カジノin Sekiyo, was delivered at Oベラ ジョン カジノima ベラ ジョン カジノipbuilding Co. Ltd. (Saikai city, Nagasaki prefecture). A delivery and naming ceremony was held at the ベラ ジョン カジノipyard on the same day and attended by NYK chairman Yasumi Kudo and representatives from Chugoku Electric Power Co. Inc.

ベラ ジョン カジノin Sekiyo is the successor to the firstSekiyo operated by NYK. After delivery, the ship will be assigベラ ジョン カジノd to transport coal mainly from Australia and Indoベラ ジョン カジノsia to power plants operated by Chugoku Electric Power.

Compared to the standard 70,000-ton Panamax bulk carrier, ベラ ジョン カジノin Sekiyo has a wider beam and a ベラ ジョン カジノallower draft, improving transportation efficiency to ports having a limited water depth.

In accordance with its “More Than ベラ ジョン カジノipping 2018” medium-term management plan, NYK will continue its efforts to make use of creative solutions to provide stable and economical coal transport.
