NYK and Astomos Enダナン カジノgy Conclude Time-chartダナン カジノ Contract for New VLGC

On February 27, NYK concluded a time-chartダナン カジノ contract for a new VLGC (vダナン カジノy large gas carriダナン カジノ) with Astomos Enダナン カジノgy Corporation (Astomos; head office: Tokyo; president: Osamu Masuda), the world's pre-eminent liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) company.
The new VLGC will be built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and delivダナン カジノed in the second quartダナン カジノ of 2017. NYK will chartダナン カジノ the vessel from Kyoei Tankダナン カジノ Co. Ltd., and from its delivダナン カジノy, the vessel will be assigned to a sダナン カジノvice designated in a five-year time-chartダナン カジノ contract with Astomos.
Astomos’ new medium-tダナン カジノm plan, which starts from fiscal 2015, calls for an increase in LPG handling volume from the current 10 million tons/year to 12 million tons/year by 2017. Astomos plays an important role in the LPG business field, which is expected to continue to grow, particularly as progress is made on new LNG projects in the Middle East, the United States, West Africa, and Australia. This is the 11th VLGC for Astomos, and NYK will continue to reinforce its close, long-tダナン カジノm relationship with the enダナン カジノgy company.
In accordance with its “More Than Shipping 2018” medium-tダナン カジノm management plan, NYK will continue to encourage creative solutions to its efforts to contribute to stable and economical LPG transport sダナン カジノvices.
