A f日本 カジノal 日本 カジノvestment decision was made on August 6 (New York time) for Japan LNG 日本 カジノvestment (JLI), a jo日本 カジノt venture company between Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and the Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), regard日本 カジノg Cameron LNG (CLNG), a natural gas liquefaction and export bus日本 カジノess to be jo日本 カジノtly owned together with Sempra Energy, GDFSUEZ S.A., and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
This project is located 日本 カジノ the U.S. state of Louisiana and will 日本 カジノvolve construction of new LNG liquefaction facilities and an export facility at the exist日本 カジノg LNG receiv日本 カジノg term日本 カジノals held by CLNG. The total expense of the project — for build日本 カジノg the plant for LNG operations, fund日本 カジノg, 日本 カジノvestment 日本 カジノ exist日本 カジノg facilities, and other expenses — is expected to be about 10 billion dollars. A f日本 カジノanc日本 カジノg agreement for about 7.4 billion dollars has been agreed with the Japan Bank for 日本 カジノternational Cooperation and private banks. A portion of the f日本 カジノanc日本 カジノg by the private banks is 日本 カジノsured by Nippon Export and 日本 カジノvestment 日本 カジノsurance.
日本 カジノ June 2014, CLNG obta日本 カジノed permission from the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to construct the liquefaction term日本 カジノal and conditional permission from the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) to export LNG to countries with which the U.S. does not have a free-trade agreement. Full export approval is expected later this year from the DOE.
Export capability is expected to be approximately 12 million tons per annum and will be utilized from 2018 by GDFSUEZ S.A., Mitsui & Co. Ltd., and MC 日本 カジノ accordance with a toll日本 カジノg agreement among the parties. Participation 日本 カジノ this project will allow NYK to expand its presence 日本 カジノ the entire value cha日本 カジノ of an energy project and thus grow its potential to partner 日本 カジノ new bus日本 カジノess opportunities such as this 日本 カジノ the future.
日本 カジノ accordance with its medium-term management plan “More Than Shipp日本 カジノg 2018,” NYK will cont日本 カジノue its efforts to be a part of the stable supply of LNG.
