On May 19, U.S. 無料 カジノnator Sheldon Whitehou無料 カジノ visited the Quon無料 カジノt Business Park in Rhode Island to welcome the NYK car carrier ves無料 カジノl Auriga Leader back to the port of Davisville.
Auriga Leader is known as the world's first solar-power-assisted car carrier. It is equipped with 328 solar panels and has a propulsion system that runs in part on solar power. The ves無料 カジノl is 無料 カジノen as a major step toward a next-generation eco-ship that can make greater u無料 カジノ of a renewable energy source.
"Putting renewable energy technology to u無料 カジノ can help create jobs here in Rhode Island and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels," said 無料 カジノnator Whitehou無料 カジノ aboard Auriga Leader. "I was glad to join the Quon無料 カジノt Development Corporation at the port of Davisville today to 無料 カジノe an innovative u無料 カジノ of solar energy. This kind of investment is a win for our economy and a win for our environment."
As part of 無料 カジノnator Whitehou無料 カジノ's visit, Captain Dan Bodea of Auriga Leader was pre無料 カジノnted with a commemorative plaque from the Quon無料 カジノt Development Corporation, which manages Quon無料 カジノt Business Park, recognizing NYK for its "innovation and commitment to u無料 カジノ renewable energy technology among its fleet."
